I love to share evidence-based information along with anthropological and evolutionary-focused perspectives in clear and easy-to-understand ways. I hold a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and a master’s degree in writing, rhetoric and discourse. My experience in research, writing, and sharing complex information in uncomplicated ways combined with my passion for birth has created an engaging series of classes designed to help you feel prepared for the exciting months ahead.
I highly recommend all classes are taken during your pregnancy. The newborn care class could be taken in the first couple weeks post-birth.
All classes are:
- Private and available in the comfort of your home

- Two-hours and include a packet with notes and key takeaways, as well as a follow-up email with resources and referrals discussed.

Newborn Care in the First Weeks
This class is a parent favorite. Spend an evening talking about and dreaming of your newborn and what those first few weeks will be like!
In this two-hour private class, you will learn about:
- The first hours post-birth and what to expect from your baby
- Your baby’s immature and developing systems
- Infant digestion and how to best support this new system
- Skin changes that occur in the first weeks and how to care for your baby’s skin
- The ways sleep changes from the first days to the second month and beyond

Understanding + Troubleshooting Newborn Sleep
Infant sleep is a multi-million-dollar industry and keeps growing for a reason. It’s something many of us struggle with and despite millions spent we have still not uncovered how to “fix” infant sleep. But what if how our babies sleep isn’t actually broken? In this two-hour private class, you and your partner will learn the biological reasons behind sleep and how to best support sleep from birth on.
